Is IV ketamine safe?
When properly screened and monitored, IV ketamine has a well-established safety record. Infusions are administered by our nurse practitioner under on-site physician supervision, with your blood pressure, heart rate, and comfort watched throughout. Temporary effects during an infusion — a floating or dissociative feeling, mild nausea, or a short-lived rise in blood pressure — resolve quickly afterward. Careful candidacy screening comes first, because ketamine isn't right for everyone.
