What it is

Muse stands for multilineage-differentiating stress-enduring cells — a naturally occurring subset of mesenchymal cells first characterized in the last decade. What makes them distinct is their tolerance of cellular stress and their tendency to home toward sites of tissue injury after administration.

Because Muse cell therapy is early in its clinical story and available at only a handful of U.S. sites, our posture here is deliberately measured.
